Volunteer in Public Schools (VIPS)

Fall 2023 - Current

Through VIPS, I tutor Elementary Students in both English and Math at McKinley Elementary School. It has been a joy to witness evident progress and communicating with ESL students.

December 2024 - Current

At Baton Rouge General Hospital, I act as a form of communication between families and hospital staff, guide families and friends, and assist in medical records. I experience a medical environment, while hearing others' stories.

As a member of Marketing & Design, I created merchandise and advertisements as well as manage social media posts for the nonprofit. I learned how to incorporate my leadership style with other leaders.

Vietnamese Student Association @ LSU

Fall 2022 - Spring 2023

As Freshman Representative of VSA, I acted as a liaison for the freshmen class and organized social events ranging from Pho Night to Talent Auction. I grew as a leader, learning how to take criticism and working with others.
